HA6 – Central Market tour and Cooking Class

  • Days: Monday, Wednesday (from April to mid-November)

This unique experience involves a guided tour of the San Lorenzo market, where participants will select some fresh and healthy ingredients that will be used during the cooking lesson.

Following the market visit, participants will proceed to the school where the Chef will be expecting them, to guide the on the preparation of typical Italian dishes.

The lesson can be held in English, Spanish, and Italian, and the minimum age requirement is 7 years old.

Meeting point is in front of gate number 7/red of the San Lorenzo Central Market (on crossroad of via Panicale). Please arrive 10 minutes before schedule time for check-in.

The menu:

  • Tomato bruschetta,
  • fresh water pasta with Mediterranean sauce,
  • Polpettone (baked meatloaf), and
  • Panna cotta.

Note: we can provide a vegetarian/vegan option, as well as other dietary restrictions (such as lactose intolerant, no pork, no seafood, etc). Please, inform us during booking.

HA5 – Homemade pasta

  • Days: Saturday (April to November)
  • Starting time: 11:30 p.m.
  • Ending Time: around 2:30 p.m.
  • Participants: Minimum 2 people Maximum 24
  • Price: € 59,00 per person
  • Includes: Course with Lunch 

This course allows participants the opportunity to work with the various types of ingredients necessary for making fresh pasta, is aimed for those who wish to discover the techniques and secrets behind the ancient Italian tradition of homemade pasta making.

Participants will learn directly from the Chef, the techniques used in working with pasta, including using the polling pin and machine.

Altogether, participants will learn to prepare fresh egg pasta and freshwater pasta, along with three different sauces and a typical Italian dessert. The course is ended with a lunch of the prepared dishes in our wine cellar, the whole session lasts approximately 3 hours.

The lesson can be held in English, Spanish, and Italian, and the minimum age requirement is 7 years old.

The menu:

  • Fresh water pasta – Tagliatelle
  • Fresh egg pasta – Tortelli di patate
  • Raw tomato sauce
  • Mushrooms sauce
  • Olive oil, garlic and peperoncino
  • Panna cotta

HA4 – Pizza Class & Gelato (ice cream)

Under the guidance of an expert chef, this course reveals to participants the principals and practices behind the Italian tradition of wood-fire Pizza and artisanal Gelato and sorbet.

Lessons can be held in English, Spanish, and Italian.

Altogether, participants will learn to prepare a pizza and two gelato/sorbet flavors, after the lesson, you will have a dinner in our wine cellar with the dishes prepared, the whole session lasts approximately 3 hours.

The options of gelato are:

  • vanilla,
  • chocolate,
  • stracciatella,
  • cream,
  • pistachio, etc,

And the options of sorbet are:

  • pineapple,
  • strawberry, and
  • lemon

HA3 – Gourmet Cooking Class – Lunch or Dinner

The Gourmet Cooking lesson is a completely hands-on experience, that will allow you to create and enjoy dishes that you can bring into your daily life.

This course is great for couples, small groups, families with children (from 7 years),and those who want to have fun in the kitchen learning how to cook traditional Florentine and Italian dishes.

In a practical way, the Chef will demonstrate each to be replicated at your station, to make single-serving dishes from the menu. At the end, you will enjoy the authentic dishes you created, accompanied by a D.O.C. Tuscan wine in the Florentine style wine cellar.

Examples of Menus:

  • Crostini Toscani (Toasted Tuscany bread topped with pâté), Gnocchi alla Sorrentina (Sorrento style gnocchi), Peposo all’Impruneta (stewed meat), and Panna Cotta
  • Just Pasta: Lasagne ragù (Lasagna with meat sauce), Tagliatelle al pesto Genovese (tagliatelle pasta with Genovese pesto), Spaghettini Pommarola (spaghettini with tomato sauce), and Tiramisù
  • Bruschetta (Toasted Tuscany bread topped with tomatoes), Risotto funghi porcini (risotto with porcini mushrooms), Parmigiana Melanzane (eggplant parmesan), and Zuppa Inglese (trifle)
  • Mozzarella in Carrozza (Fried mozzarella sandwiches), Crespelle Fiorentina (Florentine crêpes), Filetto in crosta di olive (olive crusted pork fillet), and Biscotti di Prato (Italian almond biscuits) with Vin Santo
  • Florentine Menu (min 4 people): Crostini Fiorentini (Toasted Tuscany bread topped with stracchino -soft cheese- and sausage), Bistecca Fiorentina (Florentine T-bone steak), Papparedelle ragù (pappardelle pasta with meat sauce), and Gelato al cioccolato fondente (dark chocolate gelato)

HA2 – Easy Dinner Cooking Course

  • Days: Tuesday, Thursday

  • Ending time: around 8:30 p.m.
  • Participants: Maximum 24 people

  • Includes: cooking course, dinner

In this practical and interactive group lesson, with the instructions of an expert chef, in a fully equipped kitchen, participants will prepare a traditional Italian 3-course meal, including an appetizer, main course, and traditional dessert.

The course is followed by a dinner of the prepared dishes in our wine cellar, with bottled water and Tuscany wine. The lesson duration is approximately 2.5 hours, including the dinner.

Lessons can be held in English, Spanish, and Italian, and the minimum age requirement is 7 years old.

The menu changes every lesson. Some menu examples:

  • Spinach soufflé, Pumpkin Risotto, Tiramisù
  • Fresh pasta “alla carbonara”, Chicken rolls, Chocolate soufflé

HA1 – Classical Cooking Course with Dinner Four course-tasting menu

Participants working in a fully equipped kitchen, and under the guidance of an expert Chef, will learn how to prepare a typical 4-course Italian dinner, including an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert. This course is followed by a dinner of the prepared dishes in our wine cellar.

The menus are:

  • Monday: Ricotta and Spinach soufflé / Potato gnocchi with tomato, basil and garlic sauce / Chicken with mushrooms and Marsala/ Chocolate soufflè
  • Tuesday (*): Eggplant caprese / Fresh egg pasta: potato tortelli with angry sauce/ Chicken aretina / panna cotta
  • Wednesday: Eggplant millefoglie / Fresh egg pasta: ricotta and spinach ravioli / Hunter’s chicken / Tiramisù
  • Friday: Potato soufflé / Fresh egg pasta with eggplant sauce / Farmer’s chicken / Tiramisù
